NEW Kinetics SHIELD Ceramic Base clear HEMA-free 15ml REPLACEMENT for Hard Base

Shield™ Ceramic Base is a 2-in-1 base and color. It comes in a range of natural-looking colors with good opacity. With a wear time of up to 28 days, it allows for nail extensions of up to 2 mm or small repairs.

The formula has a firm, gel-like structure that does not break, even on long and soft nails. It maintains its shape throughout the entire wear period.

Shield™ Ceramic Base has a thick consistency that does not drip or run into the cuticles. It is self-leveling and allows you to create a perfect nail shape with a very smooth surface. It can be used in two ways - in a thin layer or as a build-up base.

Shield™ Ceramic Base is HEMA-free and causes less skin itching and redness compared to HEMA-containing base coats.

Shield™ Hard Base cures in LED, UV/LED, and UV lamps.

APPLICATION

Shield™ Ceramic Base can only be used when applying the build-up technique.

Application. Prepare the nail surface and apply a thin layer of Shield™ Ceramic Base. Cure for 60 seconds in an LED or UV/LED lamp or for 120 seconds in a UV lamp.

Continue by applying a thicker layer to create an apex. Cure in the lamp. Finish the application with the Shield™ Top Coat of your choice.

Pro tip. If you already know that you will change the color for the next application, apply a thin layer of Shield™ Rubber Base before applying the Shield™ Ceramic Base, and cure it in the lamp.

This allows you to change the color without removing the product completely from the natural nail.

Removal. File it off until completely removed. Alternatively, you can file off the bulk of the material and then soak in acetone remover (e.g., Red Lisard) until completely removed.
