In this online basic course, you will learn how to use an airbrush gun step-by-step: from setup and preparation to working with colors and stencils, all the way to sealing your design. The course demonstrates work using Smalteks products.

What you will learn in this course

• Getting to know the device and accessories: Setting up the starter kit and compressor and understanding the components of the airbrush gun.

• Operating the gun correctly: Finger positioning, hand posture, and stabilizing your hand while working.

• Cleaning and maintenance: Disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling the gun, as well as replacing individual parts.

• Preparing colors: Getting to know airbrush colors, mixing them thoroughly, and diluting them if necessary.

• Preparing nails and stencils: Preparing the nail surface for color application and carefully removing and organizing stencils.

• Working with stencils: Filling in the color, testing the spray pattern on a glove, placing stencils, and creating designs step-by-step. You will also learn what to check if no paint is coming out.

• Sealing the design: Correctly finishing the completed airbrush work and protecting it with a top coat.

Additional materials

In addition to the videos, you will receive PDF documents on the airbrush gun, a color overview of the Smalteks collections, as well as print templates for your own design collection. Photos and videos featuring design ideas will provide you with further inspiration for your practice tips.
